Service upgrades and standby power

Residential and Service Work

Panel upgrades, troubleshooting, and back-up generator systems for your house, from a licensed Muskogee shop that also wires plants and dams.

Chapter 01

A commercial shop that also does your house

Most of our work is industrial and commercial: warehouses, plants, and municipal jobs like the Eufaula spillway. We also take on residential service and standby power, and we do it with the same licensed electricians and the same attention to code that we bring to a plant expansion. For a homeowner, that means the person sizing your panel or wiring your generator has spent most of their week on work that gets inspected by a general contractor, not just a homeowner, and that habit of getting it right the first time does not change when the job is at a house instead of a warehouse. It also means you are hiring a company with over 50 years of combined experience and an Oklahoma license, not a single electrician working alone out of a truck.

That matters most on the jobs that carry real consequences if they are done wrong: a whole-house generator installation, a service upgrade that has to carry more load than the house was built for, or an automatic transfer switch that has to work correctly the one time it actually matters, during an outage, often at night, often in bad weather, when nobody wants to find out the wiring was done wrong.

Service upgrades and panel work

If your panel is undersized, aging, or you are adding load it was never built to carry, whether that is a new shop building, a workshop, or just more house than the original service was ever sized for, we handle the service installation or upgrade from the utility connection through to the finished panel. We design and install the system for what your house actually needs now, not just what was standard when it was built decades ago.

Troubleshooting and repair work follows the same standard. If something in your house is not working right, tripping breakers, or was wired in a way that does not sit well with you, we will find out why and fix it properly rather than patch around it and leave the real problem for the next person to find.

Chapter 03

Emergency back-up power and ATS wiring

We install emergency back-up generator systems for homes, along with the wiring for advanced automatic transfer switch, or ATS, systems that bring the generator online when utility power drops. Getting the transfer switch wiring right is what determines whether the generator actually picks up the house load cleanly when you need it, rather than leaving something running dark, cycling, or overloaded at the exact moment you were counting on it.

This is one place where our industrial background is a direct advantage rather than a side note. Back-up power distribution is something we plan and wire on commercial buildings regularly, and a residential ATS system runs on the same underlying principles, just at house scale, sized to your panel and your generator rather than a plant's switchgear. We design and install the whole system together, generator, transfer switch, and panel, so the pieces are matched to each other instead of assembled from whatever a supplier happened to have on the truck.

Quality maintenance, installation, and repair

We are on site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and special hours are available on request. We do not advertise 24/7 emergency call-out, so if you have a genuine after-hours emergency, plan around our published hours rather than assuming we can drop everything at any hour of the night.

Within those hours, call for an appointment and Dennis or one of our licensed electricians will get out to look at the job, whether it is a single repair, a panel upgrade, or a full generator and ATS system designed for a new build or an older home that has outgrown its original service.
